Welcome
Chaplain Rev Anne Marr introduced the service and the candles were lit
The MU Choir led the opening song 'Take me Up the Tyne'
President Margy Tasker-Brown gave a short journey through time
His majesty's Lord Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear gave a tribute to the work of MU
The Bishop of Newcastle , The Rt Revd Dr Helen-Ann Hartley gave a tribute
Marjorie Wood , a long serving MU member
A new member, Anthony Wreay gave a tribute to the work of MU
Tributes were given to Honorary Vice Presidents Doreen Richardson and Pat Johnston

a reading from Ephesians 3 v17-19
The 'boat' prayers were redistributed
'We shall go out with joy!'
President Margy cut the celebration cake
with the help of others!
