St Culumbas Branch Widopen enjoyed a talk by Bev from Mental Heath Concern Newcastle

Bedington Deanery held a 60th birthday celebration at St Paul's Seaton Sluice with Bishop John Packer officiating. 

 

Reverend Barrie Cooper gave a very informative , humorous and at times moving account of his work as a prison chaplain to Holy Saviour's  Mothers Union branch on Monday July 4th. Accompanied by his wife Helen he related some of his normal working day experiences   within the prison service and how important his faith was in helping him with the more challenging encounters. He said  how important too it was to have a sense of humour for diffusing difficult  situations and in restoring his faith ..
