Events around the Diocese in October 2023

Diocesan Members Day 21st October 2023

Vicky, our speaker, spent ten years working as an Optometrist in a christian hospital in Madagascar.  She spoke of her life and work, giving a fascinating insight into her time there.  The hospital dealt not only with the medical problems of its patients but also with their mental and spiritual needs.  Picture here is one of the lovely embroidered hangings produced during patient rehabilitation and Diocesan Secretary with Vicky in tribal costume.
