The First Internet branch supported by Ponteland and St Columba`s branches provided Christmas food hampers/bags for the 16 units in Harbour Refuge.  Each bag contained a large chicken, stuffing balls, pigs in blankets, potatoes, spouts or broccoli, carrots, gravy mix, tinned fruit, Christmas cake, mince pies, homemade shortbread, large box of biscuits and a M.U. Christmas card.

Tesco put the order together for us and when we went to pay refused to take payment and donated the order free of charge. 

 MU is hugely grateful for their generosity, it was a wonderful outcome for a really worthwhile project.
