MU members support and engage with many projects and activities locally and globally, especially where needs are great and funds are low.
Nationally and globally: activities include -
- Annual ‘No More 1 in 3’ campaigns with the UN 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
- ‘Rise Up’ Campaign against Domestic Abuse.
- Various Literacy, Education and Community Building Programmes.
- AFIA (Away From It All) holidays for needy families
